๐Ÿค Florida Shrimp Pie features a creamy filling rich with chive-and-onion cream cheese, pepper Jack cheese, and tender shrimp in a flaky crust.
๐Ÿฅง This comforting dish is versatile for brunch, dinner, or an appetizer and delivers savory flavors with minimal prep time.

  • Total Time: 1 hour 15 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

1 frozen deep-dish pie crust (from a 12 oz package)

ยฝ cup chive-and-onion cream cheese spread (from an 8 oz container)

4 large eggs

12 oz frozen cooked medium shrimp (thawed, deveined, peeled, coarsely chopped, with tails removed)

ยฝ cup shredded pepper Jack cheese (approximately 2 oz)

1 frozen deep-dish pie crust for pie crust

ยฝ cup chive-and-onion cream cheese spread for cream cheese

12 oz cooked and chopped shrimp for shrimp

Instructions

1-Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375ยฐF and place a baking sheet on the center rack to heat. Thaw the pie crust at room temperature for 10-20 minutes, then poke holes in the bottom and sides with a fork. Bake it on the preheated sheet for 9-11 minutes until lightly golden, and let it cool slightly. Try this method with other pie recipes for a crisp base.

2-In a bowl: beat the chive-and-onion cream cheese until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each. Then, fold in the chopped shrimp and shredded pepper Jack cheese until everything is well combined.

3-Pour the filling: into the pre-baked crust, spreading it evenly for that perfect bake.

4-Bake the filled pie: on the baking sheet at 375ยฐF for 30-35 minutes, until the filling is set and the top is lightly browned.

5-Let the pie rest: at room temperature for 15 minutes before slicing and serving. This step helps the filling firm up and makes slicing a breeze.
