Instructions

1-Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Line two bread pans with parchment paper and lightly spray with cooking spray to prevent sticking.

2-Cream the sugar and softened butter until well combined, then mix in the eggs, pumpkin puree, and vanilla extract thoroughly for a smooth base.

3-In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg to blend the dry ingredients evenly.

4-Gradually add the flour mixture to the pumpkin mixture alternately with the milk, starting and ending with the flour mixture, to create a well-incorporated batter.

5-Fold in the chocolate chips gently to distribute them without overmixing, keeping the batter light and airy.

6-Pour the batter into the prepared pans and bake for 45-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. For mini loaves, reduce baking time to 25-35 minutes.

7-Allow the bread to cool in the pans briefly before inverting onto wire racks to cool completely, making it easier to slice.
