– 8 ounces sour cream

– 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

– 1 teaspoon sugar

– ยผ teaspoon salt

– ยผ teaspoon pepper

– 1 ยฝ cups cheddar cheese, shredded

Instructions

1-Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

2-Lightly spray: Lightly spray a 9ร—13 baking dish with cooking spray.

3-Cook the egg noodles: Cook the egg noodles according to package directions, then drain and rinse.

4-In a skillet over medium-high heat: crumble and cook the ground beef until thoroughly done; drain the grease.

5-Add the minced garlic: Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; stir well.

6-Stir in the sugar:

7-Pour in the tomato sauce: and stir again.

8-Simmer the mixture: for 5 minutes.

9-In a small bowl: combine the sour cream and softened cream cheese.

10-Place half of the cooked egg noodles: in the bottom of the baking dish.

11-Spread half of the sour cream and cream cheese mixture: over the noodles.

12-Spoon half of the meat mixture: over the sour cream layer.

13-Repeat the layers: with the remaining egg noodles, sour cream mixture, and meat mixture.

14-Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese: evenly on top.

15-Bake: for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and starting to brown.
