Ingredients

– 2 pounds medium to large fresh shrimp

– 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter

– 1/4 cup olive oil

– 1/4 cup Worcestershire-style sauce

– 6 minced garlic cloves

– 2 bay leaves

– 1 tablespoon Creole seasoning

– 1 teaspoon oregano

– 1 1/2 teaspoons paprika

– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

– 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

– 3 sliced green onions

– 2 tablespoons lemon juice

– Lemon slices

Instructions

1-First, prepare the shrimp by ensuring they are clean and ready; if needed, rinse them under cold water.

2-In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat, then add the olive oil, Worcestershire-style sauce, minced garlic, bay leaves, Creole seasoning, oregano, paprika, black pepper, and cayenne pepper; stir and simmer for a few minutes to blend the flavors.

3-Once the sauce is simmering, add the shrimp to the mixture and coat them well.

4-Pour the sauce and shrimp into a baking dish, then bake at 350ยฐF for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring once halfway through to ensure even cooking.

5-Finally, remove from the oven, add the sliced green onions, lemon juice, and lemon slices, then serve hot with crusty French bread to soak up the sauce.
