– 1 tablespoon chopped fresh herbs (such as sage, thyme, or rosemary โ€“ optional)

Instructions

1-First Step: Preheat your oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC) with fan assist and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

2-Second Step: Roll the thawed puff pastry on a floured surface into a 10 by 13-inch rectangle.

3-Third Step: Brush the surface with the beaten egg.

4-Fourth Step: Sprinkle cheese, ham, and optional herbs evenly on the pastry, pressing gently to help the toppings adhere.

5-Fifth Step: Cut the pastry lengthwise from the long side into 18 strips, approximately 3/4 inch (2 cm) wide.
