A tiny pinch of salt

A pinch of black pepper

ยฝ teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella or any preferred cheese like cheddar or provolone

Mini pepperonis or quartered regular pepperonis (quantity as desired for toppings)

Sautรฉed veggies like spinach or mushrooms (quantity as desired for toppings)

Thinly sliced fresh basil as an optional garnish (quantity as desired)

Instructions

1-Preheat the oven to 400ยฐF (204ยฐC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2-Arrange 4 split whole wheat English muffin halves cut side up on the sheet and drizzle with ยฝ tablespoon of olive oil.

3-Toast for about 4 minutes until just golden.
