Ingredients

– 1 pound pasta (any short cut)

– 1/2 cup butter (preferably salted)

– 1 1/2 cups heavy cream

– 1/3 cup pepperoncini juice (optional)

– 2 to 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

– 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt

– Salt and pepper to taste

– 1 1/2 cups freshly grated pepper jack cheese

– 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

1-Cook 1 pound of pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.

2-In a large skillet, melt 1/2 cup butter with 1 1/2 cups heavy cream over medium-low heat and simmer for about 2 minutes while stirring.

3-Slowly whisk in 1/3 cup pepperoncini juice if using.

4-Add 2 to 3 cloves minced garlic, 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes, 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt, and salt and pepper to taste; simmer for another minute.

5-Turn off the heat and gradually stir in 1 1/2 cups freshly grated pepper jack cheese and 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese in small handfuls until fully melted.

6-Serve immediately, optionally adding 1 to 2 cups of cooked, shredded chicken for added protein.
