Ingredients

– 2 cups all-purpose flour

– 1 ΒΌ cups whole milk

– 2 tablespoons melted unsalted butter

– 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

– ΒΌ cup melted unsalted butter

– Β½ cup granulated sugar

– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

– Β½ teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions

1-Preheat your oven: to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and grease an 8 Β½ x 4 Β½-inch loaf pan to prevent sticking.

2-In one bowl, mix the dry ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour, 1 Β½ cups granulated sugar, 2 teaspoons baking powder, and Β½ teaspoon salt.

3-In another bowl, combine the wet ingredients: 1 ΒΌ cups whole milk, 1 large egg (room temperature), 2 tablespoons melted unsalted butter, and 1 tablespoon vanilla extract.

4-Gently fold the wet mixture into the dry ingredients: until just blended, resulting in a slightly runny batter.

5-Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake: for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few crumbs and the top is golden brown.

6-After baking, let the bread cool for 10 minutes in the pan. Then, brush it with ΒΌ cup melted unsalted butter while still warm and coat all sides with a mixture of Β½ cup granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, and Β½ teaspoon ground nutmeg.
