Instructions
1-Cream together 3/4 cup softened butter, 1/2 cup granulated sugar, and 1/2 cup brown sugar until light and fluffy.
2-Mix in 1 egg and 1 tablespoon vanilla extract until the mixture is creamy and well combined.
3-In another bowl, whisk 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, 1/2 cup cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon baking soda, and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
4-Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until fully combined. Remember, the dough will be soft, so don’t add extra flour!
5-Scoop or roll the dough into equal-sized balls and place them on your prepared cookie sheet.
6-Bake for 7 to 9 minutes, or until the cookies look puffy and are no longer glossy on top.
7-Right after baking, press a chocolate candy into the center of each cookie, then let them cool completely on the pan.
