– 6 oz raw shrimp, peeled and deveined

– 3 tablespoons mayonnaise

– 3 tablespoons melted butter

– 1 1/2 teaspoons grated garlic

– 1 1/2 tablespoons thinly sliced scallions (about 2 stalks)

– Crusty bread such as baguette or ciabatta (sliced to no thicker than 1 inch)

– Fresh basil, thinly sliced for garnish

– Black pepper to taste

Instructions

1-First, preheat the oven to 400ยฐF and prepare your ingredients.

2-Chop the shrimp into small pieces or pulse them briefly in a food chopper without turning them into a paste.

3-In a bowl, mix the shrimp with the mayonnaise, melted butter, grated garlic, scallions, and black pepper.

4-Slice the bread horizontally or into thin slices, ensuring each piece is no thicker than 1 inch.

5-Evenly spread the shrimp mixture on the cut side of the bread.

6-Bake in the oven for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the top is golden and the bread is crispy.

7-Remove from the oven, sprinkle with fresh basil, and serve immediately.
