Ingredients
1 package of wonton wrappers
1 can (15 ounces) of apple pie filling
1/2 cup of sugar
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
Spray oil (amount as needed for spraying)
Caramel sauce (amount as needed; 1 teaspoon dollop per wonton during assembly, plus additional for drizzling)
Powdered sugar for sprinkling on top (amount as needed)
Instructions
1-First, in a bowl, combine the 1 can (15 ounces) of apple pie filling, 1/2 cup of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, stirring well for an even mix. Then, lay the wonton wrappers flat near the air fryer for easy assembly. Place 1 1/2 teaspoons of the apple pie filling mixture in the center of each wrapper, followed by a 1 teaspoon dollop of caramel sauce on top.
2-Next, dip a teaspoon in the caramel sauce and run the back of the spoon around the edges of the wrapper to moisten them. Gather the four edges of the wrapper together and pinch to seal securely, making sure no filling escapes. Place the wontons in the air fryer basket until full, then spray them with spray oil for a golden finish.
3-Cook the wontons at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 7 minutes until theyβre crispy and warm. Once done, remove the cooked wontons and place them on a plate, then repeat the process until all are cooked. Finally, drizzle with caramel sauce and sprinkle powdered sugar on top before serving warm. Remember, preparation time is brief, involving assembly and cooking for about 7 minutes per batch.
