Instructions

1-First, peel and cut 2 large apples into Β½ inch wedges, using tart baking varieties for the best texture and flavor.

2-In a bowl, mix 1 Β½ cups all-purpose flour with 4 tablespoons apple pie spice and 5 tablespoons cinnamon to create the coating mixture.

3-Whisk 2 large eggs with 1 teaspoon vanilla extract in a separate bowl for dipping.

4-Combine ΒΌ cup light brown sugar with the reserved 1 tablespoon of cinnamon for sprinkling later.

5-Coat the apple wedges twice: first, shake them in the flour-spice mixture, then dip into the egg mixture, and shake again in the flour mixture to form a crispy crust.
